I loved this book as a kid, and I just gave it to my sister for her impending infant.
This book is just begging to be ripped apart, I did not realize how flimsy it was from the picture.
an older sibling can read the book to a new brother or sister. This is a great gift for a newborn- a first book. Also.

I would recommend this book be shared with infants to toddlers (0-4). This set of books is a great way to spark your child's interest in reading. The stories are very simple (think "Dick and Jane"), but what makes them interesting are the different textures and things to do within the books - like smelling the flowers, playing peek-a-boo, and pulling tabs to make things move.
